Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre 2009

So I've been anticipating Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre 2009 for a long time. It's great so far, I love the cinematography. The casting director gets compliments from me for choosing great actors and actresses.

And for those who complain about Liu Jing being cast as Zhou Zhiruo, and Zhang Jizhong's "exaggerated" styles, shove it. It's been said and done, and they gave it their all. Either shut your mouth and watch it or shut your mouth and don't watch it. Simple. I'm sick and tired of all these so called "perfectionists" acting like they could do a much better job than the aformentioned. There was a reason the actors/actresses were chosen in the first place. And it's the very reason you watched it.

Anywho, Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre ranks in my top 5 favorite C-dramas. So if you haven't seen it yet, it's worth a watch. If you hate downloading each episode one by one, I suggest you go to veoh.com and search for it or just go here.

Crystal Kay's Color Change!

...makes your face change colors indeed. Well what I think about this new album from the wondrous R&B musical storyteller of Japan is that it is on a whole 'nother level. Her smooth tone-ranging vocals are caramelized by the drums, guitars, and chimes giving it an other-wordly, yet upbeat, positive feel. Or at least, it transports me to another place, gathering more positive thoughts within me and how life, including your loved ones, shouldn't be taken for granted. I favor all tracks on this album as it is all unique in sound putting you in a different, yet continually delivering that positive feel-good mood when switching between tracks. Ms. Kay makes it known that her spirit has elevated unto a higher cloud, from an adolescent minded girl to an intelligent, graduated businesswoman with so many projects on her schedule.
